The IFCO statement on Global Relations and Development Assistance, published in March 2025, has emerged from initial deliberations of the IFCO Health Cluster of Accredited Organisations, followed by consultations with the full IFCO. It therefore focuses on the acute existential threats emerging from the cuts in ODA, while recognising their wider, long-term impact. IFCO believes that Accredited Organisations have a role to play in the current crisis, and looks forward to working with the Commonwealth Secretariat to address the development challenges.
