The Association is governed by its Constitution, which was adopted in June 2003 and amended in July 2008, July 2009 and July 2026.

The Executive Committee meets at least four times a year, usually in central London.  During the pandemic, its members have met on Zoom.  The current postholders and committee were elected on 2 July 2026. 

The Annual General Meeting is usually held in June or July.  It is sometimes held online using Zoom. The next AGM is due to take place in July 2027.
